We need a great Clinical Research Business Developer looking to join an innovative Software as Service provider dedicated to the life science industry.
We can consider training for clinical trials, pharmacovigliance or other industry experts who are tenacious and looking for a role in sales and business development.
Our client's team of experts developed a software, a web and mobile based solution enabling the capture of safety data within the post licencing approval space.
This position achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling the products and/or related services. The post holder will personally contact and secure new business accounts/customers. You will work with the wider marketing and operational teams to develop excellent new customer solutions.
1. CORE FUNCTIONS
- Promote/sell/secure orders from prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Demonstrate products and services to potential/existing customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with prospective and current customers in the territory to generate new business for products/services.
- Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for prospective and current customers.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
- Analyse the territory's potential and determines the value of prospective and existing customers value to the organization.
- Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers considering profile, share and value opportunities.
- Identify advantages and compares organization's products/services.
- Plan and organise personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory.
- Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
- Participate in trade shows and conventions.
