We are delighted to be partnering with our client to look for a Senior Data Analyst (we can consider Data Analyst level too) with a strong understanding of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disease.
Our client is a leading provider of health data, analytics and intelligence to the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. They combine scientific expertise, data and technology to help organisations understand disease landscapes, assess opportunities and make better strategic decisions.
We are looking for an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) team, supporting the delivery of high-quality scientific and commercial intelligence to end clients. The role is remote but needs to be based in the UK with the right to work without sponsorship.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong scientific knowledge and a passion for cardiovascular, renal and metabolic diseases who wants to apply their expertise within a commercial, data-driven environment.
You will conduct in-depth research and analysis across the CVRM landscape, helping translate complex scientific and commercial datasets into clear, actionable insights for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.
Your work will span custom analytics, competitive intelligence, forecasting and bespoke client projects, with opportunities to engage directly with clients and contribute to the continued development of Airfinity's CVRM analytics.
What You'll Be Doing
- Produce high-quality intelligence reports and analysis across the CVRM landscape.
- Research emerging scientific and commercial developments.
- Track clinical trials, drug candidates, competitor pipelines, launches and strategic positioning.
- Support candidate assessment and whitespace/opportunity identification.
- Contribute to bespoke forecasting and research projects, from planning through to delivery.
- Turn complex data into compelling insights, visualisations, reports and presentations.
- Present research findings and strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop into a trusted scientific partner for clients, bringing strong CVRM knowledge to project discussions.
What We're Looking For
- A postgraduate degree in a scientific discipline, ideally with a focus on cardiovascular, renal and/or metabolic disease. A PhD is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong scientific research capability and genuine expertise or interest within the CVRM disease landscape.
- Ideally, experience within pharmaceutical forecasting, competitive intelligence, consulting or client-facing analytical work.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex scientific information into commercially relevant insights.
- Experience with data visualisation, dashboards and storytelling.
- An interest in using AI tools to enhance research, analysis and insight generation.
- Experience with R, SQL, Python or similar analytical tools would be beneficial.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
