Senior Software Engineer

Location: Remote Greater London (Onsite when required).

Type: Full Time permanent

Job description:

We need experts in UI to build out the GUI interfaces for clients that link the data science and modelling to a user friendly front end dashboard.

Ideally, you would have a background working with clients and excellent communication skills to match your front end and software development expeirence.

Skills and abilities:

Academic background or experience should include the following: UI/ UX experience and the ability to work with teams who are experts in statistical procedures/analysis; Python; R; Java; knowledge of Machine Learning (including ML algorithms) and Big Data.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science , Electrical or Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus strong experience in the job offered, in software engineering and with UI and/ or UX or related fields.

In the alternative, we will accept a PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus proven of experience in the job offered, in software engineering and with UI and/ or UX or related fields.

The main product being, a plethora of machine learning models (from linear models to tree-based ensemble methods to Deep Learning) can be trained from R, Python, Java, Scala, JSON, Flow GUI, or the REST API, on laptops or servers running Windows, Mac or Linux, in the cloud or on premise, on clusters of up to hundreds of nodes, on top of Hadoop or with the Sparkling Water API for Apache Spark.

Due to their continued success, we are looking for several Engineers (front end and full stakc) to join their teams ideally in or around Greater London.

You will be Home Based but be flexible to work on Client site as required.
