Business Development Manager – Private Care Sector
Location: London (Remote initially, transitioning to hybrid)

Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities within the UK private care sector—including care homes, domiciliary providers, and retirement villages. You’ll use your sector expertise and network to accelerate market penetration, customer acquisition, and revenue expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, qualify, and win new clients aligned with our scalable growth strategy.
- Leverage your care sector network to generate and progress sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strategic customer partnerships to ensure high conversion and long-term engagement.
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, tailored demos, proposals, and contract negotiation.
- Monitor sector trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in the UK private care sector.
- A strong, active network within care homes, domiciliary care, or retirement living.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Deep understanding of care sector procurement and CQC frameworks.
- Skilled in managing complex B2B sales cycles and CRM systems.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, including with C-suite stakeholders.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and growth-oriented.
Highly Desirable
- Experience in medtech or healthtech sales.
- Existing relationships with major care providers (e.g., Barchester, Care UK, HC-One).
- Experience introducing technology into established care environments.
