- Description
Great opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join an exciting organisation in Central London. The organisation focus within Haematology and Cardiovascular projects and currently have new studies in start-up phase with the current projects currently sponsored by one of the biggest names in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Accountabilities:
? Reviewing the current business model for the product and identifying possible
improvements and new features (including their prioritisation and commercial
justification)
? Developing a collaborative relationship with developers and other technical staff
? Creating a rigorous approach to ordering the backlog, balancing:
o Short-term and long-term goals
o User-facing features and technical enhancements
o Risk management and opportunity enablement
o Compliance and regulatory requirements
? Developing a strategy for the long-term direction of the product
? Executing the strategy with an adaptive approach to release planning and forecasting
and reporting on product performance
? Monitoring product metrics and data to validate decision-making, adjusting where
necessary
? Working with marketing communications to educate the Field about the product by
contributing to the development of sales and training materials and other marketing
communication
? Ensuring that there is always an up-to-date, correct, and accessible Product Definition
document
? Ensuring that all required T&Cs are provided with each product so that the company
adheres to its legal and compliance responsibilities.
Essential
- Demonstratable experience as a Product Owner
- Knowledge and experience in industry and product category
- Ability to fulfil the Product Owner role as described but not limited to the
accountabilities defined
- Awareness of industry trends, competitive environment, market and customer
opportunities, and emerging technology

Desirable:
- Evidence of continued personal development, such as professional qualifications
or memberships
- Experience in a diverse range of product scenarios such as industry, organisation
size, delivery maturity
- Engagement in the product community via internal company groups; external
events such as meetups or conferences; creating useful content such as blogs,
articles, or other media
- At least 5 years of experience overseeing full lifecycle of clinical and EDC
systems in a Clinical Research environment
- Confident and assured with senior stakeholders and technical development teams
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be confident to
make decisions and escalate accordingly.
