- Description
Our client is looking for a Translations Manager with clinical trials experience, who has a strong technical background preferably within Clinical Research and ideally covering wearables, eCOA, ePRO and digital health expertise to join their team in London. The position will focus on all aspects of translations management. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are set and needs are met in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery
- Take the lead on translations aspects of projects to ensure they are delivered in a successful and timely manner, including licencing activities, scale owner interactions and linguistic validation support where required
- Support the Project Managers in delivering on time, within budget, to high quality by identifying and monitoring appropriate vendors and managing interactions with those vendors
Customer Success
- Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders and understand their requirements in order to ensure deliverables meet their objectives.
- Recommend appropriate translation methodologies to support the protocol requirements
Implement Processes
- Where appropriate seek ways to update and improve existing processes to maximise project delivery efficiency and customer success
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
- Ensure customer requests are effectively communicated to other internal departments e.g. product, engineering and quality to ensure customer needs are met
Qualifications and Skills
2+ years' experience working with translation of eCOA questionnaires, including a working knowledge of the impact of moving from paper to electronic format, instrument licencing and the linguistic validation process
Experience working with Pharma clients
Ability to manage external vendors according to project scope, budget, timelines and quality standards.
Highly organised with an ability to multi-task and prioritise, strong attention to detail and a basic knowledge of Project Management
Strong relationship building skills (internal and external)
Strong communication skills including cross cultural awareness and an ability to adapt appropriately
Proactivity when working with stakeholders in order to ensure expectations are exceeded
Ability to effectively use automated systems and computerised applications such as Excel, Word, etc.
