Are you a Product Owner and industry expert in clinical trials technology? Due to an exciting expansion at our client, we need 2 Product Owners to join their team to lead, develop and execute a strategy, working on specialist products in e-Consent and telehealth to support patient experience in Clinical Trials.
Due to increased demand for remote clinical trials to help with patient safety and improving patient experience on clinical trials, we are developing our e-Consent and telehealth products. You will be taking the lead in shaping the future of our eConsent or telehealth products. These are key hires within our client's organisation
Key Accountabilities:
- Quickly building an understanding of products within clinical trials its stakeholders, users, and customers
- Reviewing the current business model for the product and identifying possible improvements
- Developing a collaborative relationship with developers and other technical staff
- Creating a rigorous approach to ordering the backlog, balancing:
- Short-term and long-term goals
- User-facing features and technical enhancements
- Risk management and opportunity enablement
- Developing a strategy for the long-term direction of the product
- Executing the strategy with an adaptive approach to release planning and forecasting
- Monitoring product metrics and data to validate decision-making, adjusting where necessary
Essential
- Demonstratable experience as a Product Owner
- Knowledge and experience in Clinical Trials software ideally EDC, ePRO, eCOA, eConsent or telehealth
- Ability to fulfil the Product Owner role as described but not limited to the accountabilities defined in the Scrum Guide
Desirable:
- Evidence of continued personal development, such as professional qualifications or memberships
- Experience in a diverse range of product scenarios such as industry, organisation size, delivery maturity
- Engagement in the product community via internal company groups; external events such as meetups or conferences; creating useful content such as blogs, articles, or other media
