We have a great role for a manual software tester for someone who cares about life science data and patient safety. This is office based in Cambridge. This is for a 6 month fixed-term contract. The candidate needs:

1. Do you have experience writing and testing Microsoft SQL stored procedures? 
2. Do you have experience with stored procedures that involve complex joins and aggregations?
3. Do you have experience writing SQL Server Unit Tests?

• Working with the validation lead to determine test approach and scope based on risk assessment
• Providing test effort estimates to the project manager
• Working with the BA/Designers to understand the use cases, requirements and design specifications
• Developing test plans based on risk assessment and use cases
• Executing test cycles
• Providing input into validation/testing reports
• Ensuring quality of the test deliverables
