- Description
Have you got strong sales experience in life science SaaS, ideally into clinical trials and working with CxO, Medical Directors and other senior science and technology leaders across a range of clients, but including Major Pharma? Our client is a US company, with a great, market changing innovation that helps understand how patients take and respond to treatments. As this is a new innovation, working with clients to understand the benefits of the system and new concepts are key too.
There will be a mix of major accounts, working with the US team, as well as the EMEA markets to develop. As this is the first hire, there is the opportunity to grow and develop the sales team in the future. This is a sales role for high delivering sales candidates, who can work as part of a remote team and also develop a market themselves.
Here's an outline of the core duties:
- Develops and enhances client relationships with a specific focus on advancing/supporting client relationships with assigned accounts as well as developing business in the EMEA market
- Reframes and challenges the way clients view clinical trials in the context of the client's patient response solutions
- Articulates the core value proposition in the context of the client's needs - this is often to expert scientists, medical directors and CxO
- Serves as a trusted advisor for strategic accounts
- Possesses deep knowledge of client business and can discuss issues from multiple angles
- Understands implications of economic and industry activity, translating implications to clients and how to assist with potential opportunities
- Identifies areas for strategic growth and expansion at clients
- Possesses awareness of competitor offerings/pricing
- Qualifies leads and develops plan to successfully convert opportunities to awards
- Manages all aspects of advancing qualified leads to awarded business including:
- Coordinating with other team members involved in 'closing ' the opportunity including Operations, Product, Engineering, and Finance
- Closes new business including coordinating the timely execution of contracts for awarded projects.
- Monitors and oversees all ongoing projects within portfolio of assigned accounts to ensure client satisfaction and issue resolution
- Liaises with Operations teams and oversees regular account management meetings for all clients
