Are you a senior CTA or Site Manager looking for a new challenge in a rapidly growing clinical research organisation, with a strong focus on technology and digital health?
Our client are market leading in digital health technologies for serious diseases of the brain. They work across all phases of clinical research and provide expert digital solutions to complex medical problems.
The Senior Site Manager is primarily responsible for assisting with the coordination of the site set-up and site management activities for a number of projects including the day-to-day supervision of site qualifications and site communications, the creation and review of study specific documents and training of internal staff. In addition, the responsibilities include monitoring of relevant site management support tools, databases, tracking tools and timelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversight of Site Qualifications across studies including regular forecasts, Site Qualification deliverables, issue escalation to the functional lead.
- Monitoring of Site Qualification databases and tracking tools.
- Develop Site Qualification materials (e.g. training materials, surveys) or allocate members of the Site Management team to write documents.
- Liaise with study stakeholders regarding Site Qualification and Site Management activities, where required.
- Oversight of Site Management activities and associated supporting systems.
- Ensure appropriate training and support for Site Managers and assisting in evaluating competency to perform tasks.
- Assist with maintaining all SOPs, work instructions and training records within the Site Management and Site Qualification team ensuring quality compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Continuous improvement of all processes and practices in the Site Management and Site Qualification team.
- Communicate and/or demonstrate Site Qualification and Site Management methods to customers, as required.
- Continual monitoring of Site Management communications and Site Qualification activities.
- Proactively keep functional lead informed about work progress and any issues (including conflicting priorities and free capacity).
- Perform other duties as requested.
Key Deliverables:
This is a key role within the Clinical Operations Team ensuring successful delivery of projects, achieving targets and continuous improvement. The key deliverables of this role include:
- Assisting with setting, monitoring and meeting key delivery metrics within the Operations team to customer expectations.
- Meeting company targets for revenue.
- Meeting efficiency targets.
- Responsible for meeting objectives and targets for Site Qualification and Site Management, reporting against forecasts and plans as individually defined each year.
- Continuous monitoring and feedback loop with functional lead on actual vs forecast Site Qualification and Site Management.
- Ensure site management is delivered to customer requirements, regulatory standards and following company SOPs.
- Supporting the implementation of new systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:
Essential
- Educated to an advanced level with either a Bachelor's degree/commercial education or experience in a similar role (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Experience in the Clinical Trial field.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm.
- Excellent organisational skills along with strong attention to detail.
- Sound interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proactive 'hands-on' approach while delegating effectively to staff to make best use of the skills within the team.
- Line management experience (minimum 3 years preferred).
