Account Manager

Are you an Account Manager looking for a new challenge in a rapidly growing medical communications organisation, with a strong focus in independent communications helping clients to launch, build, and continually develop great pharmaceutical brands?

My client have long-standing partnerships with, some of the world's largest pharma companies, and due to strong performance, they are on the search for a talented and enthusiastic Account Manager to join the team.

The role of Account Manager will see you take a pro-active approach, and the lead in management of your accounts, focusing on client satisfaction, communication, quality control, and profitability. Key responsibilities:

- You will be the key day-to day contact on your accounts, and act as an ambassador for the agency

- You will build and develop meaningful and trusting relationships with your clients ensuring you position us as a strategic partner

- You will challenge both clients and the agency team to exceed expectations

- Working with an Account Director you will regularly meet with clients interpreting their thoughts into persuasive briefs

- You will work with the agency team to manage resourcing and scheduling to ensure timely delivery to brief, within budget

- You will be responsible for overseeing the quality of work that leaves the agency, making sure it adheres to the client's approved brief and agency standards

- You will be responsible for the timely delivery of status reports, contact reports, financial reconciliations and all account administration duties

- You will take a proactive approach to identifying and initiating business opportunities with new and existing clients Capabilities

- You will have more than 2 years in the industry, and already be an Account Manager or Senior Account Executive looking for a step up

- Ideally you will be a life-science graduate, or at least have a keen interest in advertising and communications as well as a basic understanding of science and medicine

- Good understanding of the ABPI

- Experience in Veeva regulatory systems is preferable

- Solid project and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise - Proactive and take a solution-orientated approach

- A keen eye and attention to detail

- An adept communicator (verbal and written) - confident, articulate and personable being able to present with impact and instil confidence What we offer Specific details such as salary and benefits will be provided on request.
