The Role Software Tester
You'll be working with a top tier team in a modern product focussed company based in London Bridge.

Our client is at the start of a significant scale-up brought on by increased revenues and investment. They are seeing a drive by their customers for functionality that works in multiple overseas markets, and for ever increasing levels of scalability as their product becomes more widely used in the clinical trial space.
Here’s an idea of what you will be doing
Drawing on testing experience, you will help the team ensure the successful delivery of software into production, which meet business aims and timescales but is flexible enough to respond to risk and change, using the SCRUM Agile framework.
There are a number of day-to-day responsibilities you'll take quickly upon your arrival.
- Being an effective Agile (Scrum) team member
- Contributing to the testing effort of your team
- Creating, maintaining and executing test scripts
- Carrying out testing on mobile and web platforms
- Raising, retesting and closing defects
- Working closely with developers to investigate problems
- Carrying out exploratory testing
- Understanding of SDLC and agile principles
- Good communication skills
It’s essential that you have:
- Experience of testing web applications
- Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Experience of contributing to writing test cases for new functionality
- Experience in executing and maintaining test cases
- Experience of using a defect management system (JIRA preferred, but others are ok)
- Ability to work closely with development team to investigate problems
- Ability to carry out unscripted exploratory testing
