IT Business Analyst (Life Sciences Manufacturing )
Boudry - ( Neuchatel )
Contract role for 6 - 12 months

Our client is redefining the way life sciences companies do digital. That's why all 30 of the top 30 global pharmaceutical companies, 9 of the top 10 biotech companies and 12 of the top 15 medical device companies work with them. Now you can to as an IT Analyst.

To be able to proceed we require the following, without these we will not be able to take your application forward.
French and English speaking IT Analyst with manufacturing background for a contract role based in Boudry- Neuchatel area.
Ideally looking for someone with a short notice period or immediate availability
Pharmaceutical, Bio-Technology, Life Science industry experience is a must.

You should be able to recognise yourself here :

Understand IT support / administration of a system in a GxP environment
Strong Competences into Information Technologies Autonomous ability to drive projects through its entire lifecycle
Strong relationship and communication skills (verbal and written)

Here's an idea of what you will be doing :

  • Build close relationship with the Information Technology, Manufacturing and Quality organizations Boudry, Couvet and other worldwide entities.
  • Activities will concern project leading and implementation of new standalone/configurable systems or improvement of such systems in their entirety.
  • It also includes the lead and follow up on interconnected/worldwide and fully configurable systems through the assistance and/or collaboration of other members of the project/vendors.
  • Shape projects through elicits, analyzes, documents, and validates detailed user / functional / non-functional requirements; identify gaps between system capabilities and business requirements; and map capabilities to requirements to ensure that business needs are met.
  • Adjust the number of deliverables, their quality and complexity to guarantee the respect of timelines.
  • Facilitate meetings with business colleagues on IT topics
  • Assist in the translation of user and functional requirements into test conditions and expected results for application functionality, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Understand business objectives, processes, and strategies.
  • Drive development and execution of change management and training throughout the organization during the implementation and ongoing use of system applications
  • Collaborate with IT groups to ensure standards are applied for design, technology and compliance.
  • Ability to work strategically and independently with internal and external groups on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Understand and ensure the use of existing standards, governance and tools


The MUST haves :

  • Pharmaceutical, Bio-Technology, Life Science industry experience is a must.
  • 1-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst with requirements elicitation and documentation
  • 0-5 years' experience in Pharmaceutical Supply Chain including requirements elicitation, documentation, testing, training
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Supply Chain Management acumen
  • Familiar with Change Management tools such as Reliance ETQ or similar.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management tools
  • Project experience with COTS and Web-based requirements, design, development, Agile/SCRUM methodology.
  • Business Analysis certification a plus
  • Six Sigma, Lean or Business Process Change Techniques a plus
  • Real Time Data Management and Interfacing technologies (e.g.: Kepware, OSI PI) a plus
  • Serialization technologies (Laetus) a plus

Functional Knowledge:

  • Technical diploma in Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Awareness of business and enterprise architecture
  • Understanding of Manufacturing a plus
  • Understanding of Supply Chain processes, a plus.
  • Awareness of regulatory compliance and role of systems in supporting compliance
  • Understands fundamentals of Systems Development Life Cycle
  • Understands fundamentals of system testing
  • Awareness of Agile/SCRUM methodology.
