Our client's product offers a new and sophisticated online tool that is being created and managed by a team of healthcare professionals.
This solution will enhance the healthcare experience for both GPs and patients.

Their product works to combine years of integrated clinical healthcare experience from the group with high quality technology solutions by working with key partners in software and app development.

This solution will help to ease the current relentless pressures and demands faced by General Practice, while providing patients with more timely and easier access 24/7 to healthcare professionals.
Here's how you as a General Practitioner / Clinical Lead can be part of this exciting Industry:

Our client operates 24/7 service, 365 days a year providing around the clock care to their service users. This service is underpinned by our symptom assessment algorithms.

We are looking for an experienced General Practitioner to oversee the clinical management of the algorithms.

You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams, providing input to the development of the symptom assessment algorithms. There will be a short initial period whilst the clinical understanding of the algorithms is understood and any additional training undertaken and a longer period of training in the tools and algorithm building.

You will manage all aspects of the Symptom Assessment including input from internal and external reviewers, governance processes etc. Activities will include running scenarios and capturing variances, reviewing and recommending changes to assets and logic and working with US and UK reviewers to find agreed solutions to problems with reference to the literature and guidelines.

This role requires deep expertise and experience in diagnosis and clinical risk management. Along with an understanding of clinical epidemiology and Bayesian logic. You must be content with undertaking significant amounts of computer based work to identify the issues and to suggest potential solutions.

You must be committed to strong governance, be willing to follow governance processes and understand the importance of accurate record keeping.
You should have excellent understanding of Microsoft tools such as Excel and Word. Be willing to quickly learn with support and training how to use Microsoft Visio and our proprietary tools.

The core clinical tools are Up to Date, NICE content and primary academic papers along with data from the symptom assessments.
Support and training is available in these areas.

As a General Practitioner / Clinical Lead you will assist in the development of an integrated approach to the delivery of patient care across the 'whole system' of health and social care. You will work in partnership with all relevant stakeholders
