IT Project Management officer

Pop Science is delighted to be partnering with this fortune 500 Global service provider to offer the positions of IT Project Management Officer within the Pharmaceutical Industry.(PMO)
They currently work with most of the major Pharmaceutical companies and as they are now increasing their project teams this is a fantastic time to be part of their ongoing success.
Working from Basel in Switzerland we can consider contract or permanent applications but you MUST already have the right to live and work there.

Here's an idea of what you will be doing:

• Support IT Project Managers to perform project planning, monitor and control activities
• Ensure that all the Project Management deliverables are reviewed and actions are taken ( as necessary) by relevant stakeholders in order to achieve project objectives
• Key Accountabilities:
• Provide hands on support to Project Managers on project planning activities which includes scope definition, effort estimation, budgeting and resource planning
• Support project progress reviews and ensure that actions are taken as necessary to achieve project objectives
• Ensuring risks and issues are identified, tracked for actions/mitigation
• Facilitate Project Managers on changes in the client specific process framework related to PM tasks
• Facilitate project team members on using client specific tools that are used for project planning and execution
• Provide support to conduct all project review meetings and action plan recording and tracking for closure.
• Providing ad hoc analysis and reports for senior management
• Ensuring compliance to project management processes

You should already recognise yourself here:

• Successful candidates should have substantial experience within Pharma as an IT PMO
• Excellent understanding of project management practices
• Preferably experience in the Life Sciences industry
• Well versed with Microsoft Office suite and Project Management tools and frameworks
• Detail oriented, with structured, organized, methodical planning skills
• Efficient communication and coordination skills
• Business fluency in English and any additional European language
• Experience with GxP / Regulated / LS environment
• Experience in pharma validation cycle and CSV methodology, labs applications like LIMS, CDS,ELN etc
• Experienced in managing projects under strong compliance and security policies is essential.
