We have an urgent requirement for Enterprise Solutions Architect  to work at a client's site in Basel, Switzerland.

The client provides consulting services to a range of life science companies for various business segments around the world. They are considered pioneers within the life science technology sector so our client is looking for five Solutions Architects to join their team in Switzerland on contract.

You will be working on projects as consultants so excellent communication skills are needed. Ideally, you will be fluent in English and German is a great to have.

A: IT Service Management (ServiceNow know-how is required )
B: IT Operations (Application architecture focus)
C: SDLC Development operations/Automation
D: IT Security (Application Security)

The roles:
- 6-month initial contract position
- Based in Basel, Switzerland

- Working as an expert on an enterprise level project

What we are looking for:

• Professional candidates with impeccable communication skills who are confident working at the client site
• Trusted, hard working individuals who can act on their own initiative while working as part of a team and offering a consultancy service to the client.
• You will report to an Enterprise Architect. And they are an Enterprise Architect for all IT related platforms and tools, such as ServiceNow, HP ALM, Clarity, TFS and other source code tracking systems, Monitoring systems etc…
• These roles will not contribute to individual projects but more focus on Enterprise Architecture activities within well-defined domains such as
• IT ServiceManagement, DevOps, Development Lifecycle, Software Development process, IT Security aspects
• Within these domains, you should be aware of technology landscape, latest trends, best practices for implementation of such tools on organization level.
• You should be should be familiar with such tools/Standards including:
• UML, TOGAF, server, Enterprise Architect, Visio Any other modelling tools used for EA modelling…
• The deliverables produced by the role should be:
• Architecture RoadMap, Prove of Concept, Technology evaluation Business case document, Information Architecture , High Level architecture for some IT process/standard implementation

SCOPE :
Define the architecture of a solution elaborated in a program or a project leveraging existing patterns.
Elaborate a solution architecture which adequately responds to a given business/technical problem.
- Provide solution architecture guidance to support the conceptual and detailed design within projects
- Elaborate the solution architecture for a specific solution based on architecture-significant requirements and company-wide architecture standards
- Develop alternative architecture approaches all adequately responding to a given problem and select the most appropriate architecture alternative (together with Domain Architect)
- Leverage architecture standards, architecture patterns, reference architectures, and other referential means in order to elaborating the most adequate solution architecture meeting functional and non-functional requirements
- Elaborate and describe the solution architecture holistically (i.e. considering all relevant viewpoints (e.g. functional Architecture, Data Architecture, Technical Architecture, Security Architecture, Performance Architecture, etc.)
- Validate solution architectures regarding their adequacy and adherence to architecture standards throughout the solution lifecycle
- Communicate and explain selected aspects of the solution architecture to appropriate stakeholder groups
- Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within solution architecture domain scope

What we would prefer:

• Understanding of the pharmaceutical sector is a plus
• German-speaking is an advantage
