Our client is a Clinical Research Organisation that is rapidly growing and are now on the lookout for a Senior Clinical Project Manager to join their team which is based in Maidenhead.
The roles main responsibilities is to coordinate all of the activities with regards to the clinical project and to work within strict timelines, keep to budgets and deliver excellent results while liaising with the Global Project Manager and the rest of the team.
What the role involves:
Acting as the principal liaison for the clients to ensure effective and timely communication of project progress
Be the primary liaison between the project team and the sponsor/customers and service providers
To ensures cross-functional team, compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Clinical Practice
Work closely and effectively with physicians, principal investigators, research directors, clinical trial sponsor, study teams, and outside consultants
Be able to identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the team and manage the project dependencies and critical path
The planning and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
Ensures external and internal documentation is completed in accordance with PM Clinical SOPs and GCP regulatory requirements
What we are looking for:
An experienced Clinical Project Manager who has managed projects from start to end
Someone who preferably has a Bachelor degree in the life sciences or health sector
Great understanding of clinical research
Extensive knowledge of drug development
Great leadership skills and the ability to coach, mentor and support a team
Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences and preferably as a Senior Project Manager
