Are you an experienced Clinical Database Programmer/Developer who is looking for an exciting career within a rapidly growing CRO?

Our client, an expanding Life Sciences technology company focused on helping companies who run clinical trials, is recruiting for a Senior Database Programmer who preferably has Medidata RAVE knowledge

The main purpose of the role is to contribute to develop the clinical database to collect the clinical data provided on paper or electronic CRFs, program the computerised checks or SAS checks to ensure clean, accurate and complete clinical data can be delivered to customers

What the role involves:

  • Creating the annotated CRF (aCRF) using company standards or sponsor' s naming conventions in accordance to DMP and the clients expectations

  • Build the clinical database, creating variables, code lists, forms and visits in accordance with the aCRF

  • Develop the computerised checks

  • Develop SAS checks in accordance with the validation specifics

  • Validate the database structure and the computerised checks or SAS checks;

  • Execute in-stream changes to the production eCRF when requested by the the Lead Data Manager

  • Communicate the database setup status to the team

What we are looking for:

  • Someone with the ability to create and test import files for electronic data received from external vendors

  • Clinical Database programming/developing experience

  • Great knowledge or experience working with Medidata "RAVE"

  • A candidate who understands how to import electronic data received from external vendors during the course of the clinical study

  • Someone who can program and generate data listings and generate tracking or metric reports

  • SAS knowledge and DATATRAK is a plus
