Description

We have got a great role, based in South West London (with some working from home flex), for a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager with significant experience of working within the pharmaceutical industry, for a Technology company, a service provider or a Contract Research Organisation (CRO) with proven experience of project delivery and customer management.

We are looking for someone who would be a great fit for our client's team. If your approach is collaborative, friendly, delivery-focused and encouraging team development then this could be perfect for you.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a Project Management role with delivery of studies from start up to close out. 

This combined set of experience will ideally have been gained within companies that provide technology solutions to the pharmaceutical industry; these could be EDC (Electronic Data Capture) providers,ePRO/eCOA solution providers, IVRS or other pharmaceutical technology solution providers. Knowledge and understanding of the drug development process are an advantage.

About our client:

They are an exciting and established rapidly expanding software solutions provider to the Pharmaceutical/CRO industry.

Their offerings include a broad package of offerings used for traditional and decentralised clinical research including EDC, eCOA, and eConsent. They also provide solutions for Managed Access/Early Access programmes.

Job outline:

Project Delivery

? Primary responsibility is to deliver cross functional projects to time, quality and budget through effective management of  resources

      Act as a consultant on 's solutions to clients.

Delivery to scope of contract and manage changes to scope through preparation and execution of Change Orders

 Maintain and share with the client - Project Plans throughout the project life cycle

Maintain appropriate audit ready project/client documentation within e-project folders for one or more projects/clients

Maintain high client satisfaction by providing proactive/timely communication and issue management

Develop client relationship through effective proactive project management

Assure compliance with  standard project management methodologies, SOPs, and Work

Instructions

      Maintain accurate project metrics/trackers/reports as required (frequency per report and management requirements)

Ensure management are kept aware of progress, and any issues or complaints that have or may arise

Support

      To coach/mentor junior members of the Project Management & Operations team

Drive and deliver client projects to time, quality and budget

Drive process improvement initiatives

Present  services at client meetings, kick off meetings or bid meetings if required

Maintain records of internal meetings e.g. Internal Project Management meetings, internal escalation

      meetings etc.

Manage internal projects per business needs

Encourage consistency and knowledge sharing within the team and cross functionally.

Work closely with Product Team on product roadmap/enhancement requests

Lead/manage internal meetings as required

Job requirements: 

      You have a university degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) and are eligible to work in the UK

At least 5 years of work experience in a regulated industry, experience in the technology, software  development and/or pharmaceutical/clinical/biomedical sector is desirable

      Demonstrates effective use of systems, processes and tools

Demonstrates taking initiative as a self-starter but also accepts direction

Able to prioritise day to day work in support of numerous projects and project managers

Able to coach & mentor junior PMs

Able to deputise for Head of Project Management when required

Able to contribute to Process Improvement Initiatives within Project Management & Cross functionally

      Excellent computer skills (MS Office including MS Project)

Excellent analytical skills

Excellent administrative skills

Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Excellent client management skills

Good leadership skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a committed Project Management team
