Our client is growing at pace due to the success of their Industry leading products for clinical trials. We are looking for a Biostatistician/ Statistician to work in the team.
The Statistician will ensure studies are planned and implemented to the highest standards, in compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, SOPs and all applicable regulatory guidelines. Performs intermediate-level statistical analysis and programming for clinical research projects with particular emphasis on analyses based on clinical trial data, electronic health record data and other retrospective studies. Coordinates the statistical needs of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on current clinical research projects, help with the design of new clinical studies and publish
research in clinical scientific journals
- Apply statistical techniques to analyse real-world evidence
- Assist in the design and execution of experiments or studies related to cardiovascular health outcomes
- Be part of our clinical research fellowship program, designed to educate clinicians in research methodology
- Develop and maintain statistical models to support research initiatives
- Clean, prepare, and validate data for statistical analysis
- Utilise statistical software, with a preference for SAS, to conduct data analysis and create visualisations
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in statistical methodologies
- Support acquisition and implementation of new information sources, data collection strategies, and analytics
- Help staff with data manipulation and analytic methods to improve analytic deliverables when required

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Track record experience in Real World Evidence, large observational healthcare datasets
- Experience within an epidemiological, health economics or outcomes research group
- Comfortable with working with large data sets
- Role requires a minimum of a Master's degree in (bio)statistics or related field and no relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in (bio) statistics or related field and 3 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or work experience
- Expert in SAS programming
- Statistical methods: survival analysis, time-dependent Cox model, multiple imputation, logistic regression, Poisson regression, models for count data and smoothing techniques
