Are you passionate about healthcare development? We have an exciting VP, Healthcare Commercialization role with a leading digital healthcare company with presence in 7 countries across Europe and the U.S.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of our clients' healthcare commercial strategy and execution. You will build and manage the sales, business development, market access, and professional services teams within the organization. You must be an entrepreneurial individual and an expert in launching and rapidly scaling digital health businesses, including a strong network with payers, health systems, research organizations, and partners in relevant industries such as pharma and medical devices.
Reporting to
- This position will report directly into the CEO and collaborate closely with the executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Leverage early learnings and partner relationships, as well as personal experience and network, to develop and adapt client's healthcare commercial strategy.
- Determine prioritization of partners based on commercial opportunity and product/market fit.
- Drive transition from pilots to paid commercial engagements.
- Build the team and infrastructure to scale commercially with B2B healthcare partners.
- Recruit, build incentivization structures for, and retain top talent in sales, business development, and market access/health economics.
- Build a professional services organization to support more widespread deployment of client.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships internally with Growth/Marketing, Product, Operations, Clinical, Customer Support, and Tech teams. Provide input to product and research roadmaps.
- Take a hands-on approach to closing deals and managing relationships with early partners.
- Incorporate a deep understanding of organizational structure and decision-making processes of healthcare organizations and industry partners into plans, roadmaps, and sales approach.
- Take responsibility and ownership for setting and hitting B2B revenue targets.
- Required Skills/Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in the healthcare industry in a commercially focused role
- Experience introducing and scaling a new digital health product with specific exposure to remote patient monitoring a plus.
- High-level strategic thinker plus granular understanding of the European healthcare markets.
- A collaborative problem solver with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Results oriented, takes ownership of outcomes and communicates learnings to the team
- Passion for transforming healthcare by making use of novel technologies to improve disease management and patient care.
