We are delighted to be looking for a Medical Oncology Expert for Our Client. They are market leaders in AI and ML lead Biopharma.
Our client is the market leading AI biotechnology company that using AI to find the right treatment for every patient. They have excellent funding and a strong pipeline of projects.
They are seeking the best and brightest to join our fast-growing and dynamic team. Ideally, you will be based in London or Paris but we can consider remote work in the UK and France and potentially other EU Locations for the right person as long as you can travel.
About the role:
The company is seeking to hire an MD (Medical Doctor) as Medical Oncology Lead - Early Development to strengthen its growing biomedical department and enhance the company's oncology research and development activities. You will act as the subject matter expert for the team to help understand all matters oncology - from patient treatment to the newsest lab and diagnostics techniques.
Reporting to the Head of Oncology, you'll:
- Work with cross-functional specialists across partnership, research & development, and commercial functions to develop and implement medical and scientific strategies for the development of the company's portfolio of innovative drugs for oncology;
- Stimulate innovation of improvements, combinations, and new therapeutic modalities of the company's current technology and build the IP portfolio;
- Expand the company's external research collaboration programs within Oncology;
- Improve the company's global scientific input strategy to gain external scientific/clinical insights and competitive intelligence in support of the company's research & development strategy;
- Sustain the company's scientific credibility by fostering and developing relationships with current and future collaborations
Ideal Profile:
- MD in Medical Oncology (or PharmD with robust academic research background) with a PhD or equivalent tracked experience in Tumor Biology or related fields;
- Experienced and published profile within Oncology;
- Experience in Clinical Research;
- Some industry experience and/or drug development is a plus;
- Able to analyze and conceptualize a strategy with skills to influence, set direction, generate alignment, as well as balance short-and-long-term needs;
- Prior experience in foster and develop relationships with external partners;
- Highly intellectually capable with agility and resourcefulness;
- Resourceful, motivated, decisive and proactive; able to prioritize in a fast-growing organization;
- Excellent facilitation and consultative skills; ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders, and to positively influence decision making;
- Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal), and results-oriented project management skills;
- Ability to work successfully under minimal supervision, determine personal work plan, and operate independently;
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- A collaborative style and able to provide constructive challenge;
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
