- Description
We've got a great Lead Data Analyst / Data Scientist role looking at Respiratory syncytial virus RSV working in predictive analytics. Our client can consider candidates in the UK ideally London but we are flexible and the USA ideally Washington or Boston.
If you are interested, this role can involve managing a team too, but we definitely need a technical expert for this.
You will work on critical analysis and informatic services to clients. Your insights and output will inform critical decision-making by clients across multiple sectors including, for government,public health, pharmaceutical, medtech, investor and other business sectors.
The role holder will help develop our RSV analytics across competitive intelligence, commercial and disease outcomes identifying key questions for clients in order shape analysis and always aim to pre-empt the impact changes and new data within the space.
Key Responsibilities:
? Lead the RSV analytics team to turn science related data into clear insights into written
and oral analysis for clients.
? Become the client facing expert lead within RSV
? Develop and implement data analysis strategies to drive insights and recommendations
for clients.
? Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and
within budget.
? Deliver effective stakeholder presentations and demonstrations to optimise the value of solutions to clients
? Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and
engagement.
? Work closely with other disease area leads to ensure alignment across the infectious disease team and wider business.
? Identify opportunities for business growth and develop strategies to expand the team offerings.
? Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and foster their professional growth.
Skills and Qualifications:
? Experience in data analytics or consulting in the life science industry, ideally in the RSV space or anti-viral or anti-infecties
? At least a doctorate degree (or equivalent level of experience) in life sciences, data science or statistics.
? Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualisation tools such as Excel, R, or Tableau.
? Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to effectively scrutinize scientific results and publications with the capability to produce predictive analytics.
? Good communication and leadership skills to efficiently lead an interdisciplinary team.
? Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
? Experience presenting to clients, including C-suite, and key stakeholders.
? Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high standard of output
