Inside Sales Director
Are you passionate about clinical development? We have an exciting Inside Sales for our client who provides unrivalled biostatistics and operations research knowledge to their customers in the life sciences industries in the form of both software and services.
Responsibility:
Individual will be responsible for successfully hiring and leading a team of Client Development Managers (CDMs) through a successful partnership across all client business units (CBUs). Within a highly competitive CRO industry, this individual will be called upon to successfully lead and motive their team to execute the Global Sales strategy, Supporting the initiatives set forth in the launch plan. This person is extremely organised, personable, able to multi-task, and has excellent internal relationship skills. This person will be responsible for working with business leaders across all CBU's globally to conduct needs assessments, understand growth areas, develop campaigns/prospecting initiatives to increase exposure with clients and to increase overall sales, and work with Client Development teams to delivery new leads & sales to those BU's. Lead Generation will be conducted across new and existing clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hire, nurture and manage an accomplished team of Client Development Managers
- Develop global business unit lead generation plans based on sales goals, growth areas, expectations, and available resources, including Go-To-Market strategies and tactics
- Identify and implement improvements to technology stack that yield improved performance across the Client Development Manager team
- Majority of time will be spent working with business unit heads to support business unit goals as well as provide coaching, direction, and feedback to CDM team
- Plan, design and implement global sales campaigns / prospecting initiatives including Sales Plays for all business units
- Liaise with marketing to optimize and increase Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) flow
- Establish position working relationships with global sales staff and respond to their needs
- Work cooperatively with Global VP of Business Development, Outside Sales members, Subject Matter experts, Marketing and Client Development team to deliver high quality new business opportunities
- Drive sales innovation by providing sales thought leadership and promoting innovative ways to continuously improve business results
- Responsible for building tracking and reporting of all monthly performance metrics on lead generation, campaigns, and prospecting
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years sales experience
- Working knowledge of CRO & Biopharmaceutical / Medical Device industry
Skills:
- Previous CRO, Biopharmaceutical sales experience is required.
- A proficiency in CRM systems is required.
