Our client are growing rapidly and are leading the market in SaaS, statistics, data analytics and study design for clinical trials and RWE.
We have a range of Business Development and business support roles to support this. As an example, we have a someone to work as a Functional Service expert working wiht Major Accounts. We can hire this as Associate Director role too so a perfect crossover into BD from recruitment or operations.
You will be highly experienced in uncovering and building FSP relationships and have the ability to support sales/account plans across pharmaceutical & biotech organizations globally. Through the creation and delivery of engaging sales enablement, focused client meetings and high-quality client-oriented proposals the individual will a take critical role in helping to shape the future of our client's FSP business.
Your Impact
You are responsible for ensuring that the FSP vision and differentiated offering are brought to life consistently and with high quality thru meaningful engagements with prospective customers and bespoke client facing materials, ultimately driving the expansion of the organization's client base. By working alongside existing account teams and operational subject matter experts, you will ensure the sales strategy is adequately articulated in high potential clients both big and small across a wide range of companies globally.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience of carrying a quota selling services, ideally within the Healthcare and Life Science's industry with a focus on Functional Service Provider engagements.
- Successful history of net new business sales, with the ability to drive consistent delivery against revenue targets.
- Experience managing the sales cycle from lead generation thru deal closure collaborating with varied levels of our clients from business champions up to the C Suite.
- Good experience within the pharmaceutical industry with a track record of successfully selling clinical trial delivery services into the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience managing complex situations in global companies with strategic planning and execution.
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
- Account management experience a plus
- University Degree (advanced degrees preferred)
Some Of Your Main Responsibilities And Deliverables Will Include
- Prospect, develop and sell FSP business in targeted clients.
- Support preparation and execution of strategic FSP sales plans that outline goals and growth strategies for any named accounts where FSP business will be prospected directly.
- Support the development of FSP sales strategies for staff assigned regionally outside of the strategic account BD team.
- Determine customer needs, matching capabilities to those needs, and position our client as the choice amongst competitors, including both full service CROs and niche specialty providers.
- Support development of responses to requests for proposals/information (RFPs/RFIs), capabilities meetings, bid defenses, work order preparations and amendments to existing work orders etc., in collaboration with Account Management, Project Management, Business Operations & Heads of BUs (operational support team).
- Create, build and manage excellent client and internal relationships.
- Attend and support relevant industry conferences and events.
