Our client is growing at pace due to the success of their Industry leading products for clinical trials. do you have experience programming with C# and .NET?

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and driven C# Developer to help implement our data pipelines. This role will work closely with our data analysts and developers to write mapping logic to import study data into our application.

This role will be primarily back-end focused, but front-end experience in JavaScript and/or React, or a strong interest to learn is desired. You must have a solid understanding of C# and .NET in general (we use .NET Core 3.1) and a strong motivation to continually improve.

You must have a strong passion for learning new things, exploring new ways of doing things, and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. Creative problem solving, attention to detail, and clean code are also required skills for this role. Collaboration is also a large part of the development and overall team culture so the ability to work and collaborate with others is a requirement.

Skills

  • Minimum of two years of relevant development experience
  • Self-motivated
  • Enjoy working in a small results-oriented team
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to take responsibility for the consistency and quality of all deliverables, and check results before delivering.

Technical Experience (not exclusive)

  • At least two years of experience using C#
  • Experience with LINQ queries
  • Proficient in debugging and solving issues
  • Experience with version control systems such as GIT
  • Experience in C# .NET Core (3.1+)

Desired but not essential

  • Understanding design patterns of object-oriented & functional programming, microservice architectures, concepts of abstraction, etc.
  • Exposure or experience with GraphQL
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Experience with writing basic SQL queries
  • Experience with Azure DevOps

You will be responsible for:

  • Architecting and implementing powerful data import pipelines using the latest technologies.
  • Working at the direction of development lead and in collaboration with other developers/engineers and designers to solve problems and complete projects successfully and on time
  • Diagnosing and solving issues and bugs
  • Contributing to peer code reviews and pair-programming
  • Refactoring and optimizing code
  • Sharing knowledge with and collaborating with other developers
