Do you love developing software products that can really help improve the lives of patients We have a great role for a Product Owner / Product Manager to join our client's team in London.
Our client have developed a software product that offers evidence-based features that are unique and useful to clinicians. Through their remote monitoring, data collection, and communication tools, clinicians are able to gain a significant understanding of the health and wellbeing status of their patients.
They are in an exciting growth stage so this is an opportunity to be the product owner on a great product.
Key Accountabilities
- Quickly building an understanding of the healthcare market, its stakeholders, users, and customers. Ideally, you will already be a thought leader / expert in software products for healthcare
- Reviewing the current business model for the product and identifying possible improvements
- Developing a collaborative relationship with developers and other technical staff
- Creating a rigorous approach to ordering the backlog, balancing:
- Short-term and long-term goals
- User-facing features and technical enhancements
- Risk management and opportunity enablement
- Developing a strategy for the long-term direction of the product
- Executing the strategy with an adaptive approach to release planning and forecasting
- Monitoring product metrics and data to validate decision-making, adjusting where necessary
Essential Requirements
- Good experience as a Product Owner
- Knowledge and experience in developing software in healthcare
- An understanding of Medical data and regulations around developing software
Nice to have
- Evidence of continued personal development, such as professional qualifications or memberships
- Experience in a diverse range of product scenarios such as industry, organisation size, delivery maturity
- Engagement in the product community via internal company groups; external events such as meet-ups or conferences; creating useful content such as blogs, articles, or other media
