Our client is looking for a Tester who has experience with mobile applications. Our client has a market leading data capture platform for clinical trials, that patients love to use. Based in London, UK, but remote working is also permitted, you should be interested in global work as their product reaches patients all around the world. As our client is moving to a BYOD (bring your own device) having AWS device farm.
We are offering the opportunity to work within our multi-disciplinary engineering team to support the delivery of our patient-centric platform. You will be an integral part of our testing team responsible for testing our mobile applications and web services. The role will bring plenty of interesting technical challenges and provide the opportunity for personal growth.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Contribute to definition of testing requirements for new products and features
- Creating, maintaining and executing test scripts
- Carrying out testing on mobile and web platforms
- Raising, retesting and closing defects
- Working closely with developers to investigate problems
- Carrying out exploratory testing
- Authoring and reviewing test documentation
- Support iterative product development through agile delivery teams and frameworks
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Experience with testing web applications
- Experience with testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android
- Good understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Strong experience of defining test cases for new functionality
- Strong experience in executing and maintaining test cases
- Experience of using a defect management system (JIRA preferred, but others are ok)
- Solid understanding of Software development lifecycles and agile principles
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team
NICE TO HAVE
- Atlassian Suite (JIRA / Confluence in particular, Zephyr a bonus)
- Previous experience in any regulated industry
- Non-functional testing experience (such as Performance, Security and Accessibility)
- API testing
- Web / mobile application automation experience
