We are looking for an exceptional Senior Back End Engineer to help build and maintain our clients award-winning patient data capture platform.

Our client are offering the opportunity to be a key member of the team focussing on the back-end services to ensure high performance and responsiveness. Our client are looking for a proactive and driven individual to take responsibility for key projects and ensure robust design and delivery of new functionality.

Our client has a market leading data capture platform for clinical trials, that patients love to use. Based in London, UK, but remote working is also permitted, you should be interested in global work as their product reaches patients all around the world. 

Key Requirements:

• Work with engineers to design scalable, reusable services.
• Optimising the applications for robustness and scalability.
• Implementing security by default in every aspect engineering.
• Provide services for user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
• Designing and implementing appropriate data storage solutions.
• Work with DevOps to ensure implementations are kept up to date with the latest cloud trends.

• AWS (ECS, Fargate)
• TDD

Commercial knowledge or recent usage of:

• GoLang
• Serverless (AWS Lambda)

• CI/CD pipelines
• Pharma/Regulated industries
