Are you a Business Analyst with a passion for using data to help manage risk in your studies? We've got a great Business Analyst role, to work with clients of all sizes and help them progress their risk management strategies.
The Role
The Business Analyst role is a key function in our SDLC delivery model. Our SDLC follows an Agile approach, using a Kanban model in MS Azure DevOps leveraging Modern Requirements, Axure, Test Manager and Selenium as the main tools for requirements, design and testing.
The primary function of the Business Analyst role is to support the business in the implementation and improvement of commercial technology products, primarily the RBQM system, and to ensure the end product meets predefined acceptance criteria agreed with the stakeholders.
The core tasks performed by the BA are:
- Working with the Product Owner and Product Manager to understand the product strategy
- Support the Product Manager in the development and maintenance of the product roadmap
- Manage and facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders (internal and external) in order to establish business objectives/requirements, help quantify business challenges, develop detailed process maps, business process capability, quantifiable improvement goals, prioritized root cause analysis, and solution recommendations that directly link to improvement goals.
- Work with stakeholders to define the commercial and user benefits of the product features linked to improvement goals.
- Communicate the stakeholder needs to the product development team in the form of business processes to be supported by the solution and business, functional and technical requirements of the solution
- Support the Product Manager in the prioritization of product features and release planning
- Support the Product Manager in the development of budget and release schedules for product features
- Provide timelines and effort estimates for deliverables
- Manage deliverables in accordance with project timeline and budget
- Define acceptance criteria based on requirements and review product design and build against acceptance criteria
- Work with UX/UI designers and software developers to review the business use cases and requirements for the product features
- Review UX/UI design concepts, full designs and build to ensure they will deliver against the intended business use cases and requirements
- Support knowledge transfer of requirements and business use cases to the test team and implementation team
Technical Skills (not exclusive)
The candidate must have good knowledge of and experience in the following:
- Clinical trial process, ICH E6 (GCP), ICH E8 (General Principles of Clinical Trials) ICH Q9 (Quality Management) and 21 CFR Part 11
- Computer system development life cycle (SDLC) and Computer System Validation
- Stakeholder management
- Developing business processes documents, business, functional and technical requirements
- Understanding of clinical trial data and data structure, particularly from EDC, including CDISC/CDASH and SDTM standards would be an advantage
