Are you a Procurement Category Manager looking to work on a 12 month contract in Major Pharma
The role is remote, with up to 30 percent travel. The role can be based in Italy, Germany or Switzerland.Job Requirements
- Procurement Category Strategy responsibility for defined Capital Equipment
- Define and control the equipment strategy - suppliers to use, sourcing approach, contractual position, ways of working, SRM, category evolution
- Own supplier relationships, manage risk, and smooth relations in any project escalation
- Work with cross functional team – business, global engineering and other stakeholders
- identify key stakeholders (mapping and classification), understand their needs, articulate an impactful message and deliver it in the most appropriate forum
You will need to be able to work with:
- Complex stakeholder base with differing objectives
- Large increase in spend over the next couple of years to support capital pipeline
- Busy market place with client projects having urgent turnaround times
- Improvement of processes - review current ways of working and make recommendations/ lead projects to inprove
- Develop and lead relationship and governance between client's stakeholders and suppliers
Role will be home working majority of time. Travel estimated at ~30% - including supplier visits, stakeholder visits.
