- Description
We have 2 urgent roles for Selenium experienced software testers to work with our life science technology client in Cambridge. These are initially 3 month contracts, but they may extend.
We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual, who wants to apply their knowledge and experience of software and integration testing within a growing team who can bring expertise in areas such as automated testing in a continuous integration and continuous deployment process, front-end application testing, API testing, and performance and load testing.
You will be working on our client's product, which is continually growing and evolving to address the needs and requirements of the Industry, with 2 major release cycles per year, the testing will include User Interface as well as data integration and aggregation.
Our client's SDLC follows an Agile methodology, using Kanban, which is managed in MS Azure DevOps. We follow a continuous integration continuous development (CICD) process in our pre-validation/production environments and are using Selenium WebDriver in C# .NET Core to develop our automated tests.
In the clinical trials industry, validation of products that are used to inform decisions on patient safety and well-being and data quality and integrity is of the utmost importance.
Your skills:
- Experience using Selenium for application, API and data integration testing, ideally in a single-page-application framework such as Angular or React.
- Industry experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- Self-motivated and fast learner - especially if you are working at home
- Enjoy working in a small, results-oriented team
- Willingness to provide input to project plans and approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enjoy working on a variety of projects
- Ability to take responsibility for the consistency and quality of test deliverables
- Working with the validation lead and development lead to determine test approach and scope based on risk assessment
- Providing test effort estimates to the project manager
- Working with the BA/Designers to understand the user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria
- Developing test cases using Selenium, JavaScript and C#
- Executing test cycles
- Providing input into validation/testing reports
- Ensuring quality of the test deliverables
