Description

We've got a great role as a Pre-Sales Consultant to work in our client's Solution Engineering team, focused on cutting-edge AI and ML business. Ideally, we need a thought leader in Data Science, who wants to work with a variety of clients to help them with their data issues.

This role is an early hire into the UK team, where high growth is expected. This gives you real scope to make what you want of the role, whilst driving revenue into the business.

The core role involves working across a wide range of EMEA accounts and industrial sectors providing machine learning, supporting technology and domain advice. The team ethos is dedicated and fun loving team to successfully design and sell value based solutions that will allow customers solve their business challenges.

You need to have a strong, proven background in data science and programming in areas such as R, Python, SAS.

You will be the trusted data science advisor for our client's prospects, customers and partners so excellent communication and customer skills are key too.

  • Own account-related technical items and relationships throughout the sales cycle - account planning, opportunity identification and solution design
  • Communicate effectively with internal and externally stakeholders to a diverse audience, including: engineers, business people, partners and executives to demonstrate thought leadership. Audiences will be large and small, and interactions will be in-person and online.
  • Translate business use cases and requirements into value based technical solutions through the architecture of machine learning workflows and systems from data ingestion to model deployment
  • Demonstrate machine learning solutions with engaging storytelling and technical accuracy
  • Create, design, and deliver compelling presentations on complex and technical concepts
  • Craft statement of work, responses for proposals/information, and all written communication required to engage customers.
  • Lead successful proof of values and concepts
  • Collate customer feedback and work with the engineering team to further enhance our product portfolio
  • Present at data science community meet-ups and webinars
  • Have an active presence on a wide range of social media outlets.
  • Contribute in regular catchups with your manager to make sure you are developing your skill sets in line with your motivations
  • Take part and lead coaching sessions with other team members to help you continuously improve
  • Enjoy each others company and get together outside of the day to day working environment to socialise and have a great time
  • Explore a wide range of locations within your resident and surrounding countries. Travel could be to 50% of the role with a flexible balance between your work and home life being respected

Requirements:

Detailed technical understanding of machine learning and its practical application

Ability to help sell software and solution through articulation of value rather than just features and functions

Ability to explain a complicated subject in a clear and articulate fashion

Passionate, enthusiastic and reflective
